Show show might be over but the work isn't. All the packages from online orders and purchases at the show are ready to hit the post office. Thanks again to everyone for all the support!

Video from opening night

I love the new HBO series "How to make in America". The intro song by Aloe Blacc is so appropriate and very contagious once you hear it. I had to do my own rendition and sync it to the pictures from the opening night. The series really inspires you to get your hustle on and go after your dream. I know its just a show, but it really hits home. The struggles getting to your goal just makes it getting there feels so much better. Thank you Lemara and Landon for providing the pics.

The Crowd

Thank you to all the fans that came out and supported the show! Thank you for being respectful to the culture and the establishment. I am proud to say that no one at the show got rowdy or stupid. Everyone just respected each other and we had a very friendly show. I hate art shows when people think they are better than the people attending. That's stupid. You can come up to any of the artists and talk to them as a peer and not some holy celebrity.

We are in the process of making a book from the show and here are some of the shots, but the best ones are gonna be in this book. Hopefully get done in a month or so. For now enjoy these fliks and thanks again for making it such a great night and definitely a show to remember. Philly holding the sticker scene down like no other.

FWB Set ups

Here are a few pictures of the space the day before when we just got done hanging. Check out my blog for more info. More pics are coming in from the photographers this week. Stay tuned. Oh and for the people interested in buying pieces from the show. We are working on a shopping cart type of page now. Hopefully sometime this week it will be finalized and ready to roll.

The Set-Up

We have always found its easier to lay everything out on the ground and see what ya got before ya try to hang it on the wall. Group things together, see the colors ect.. We try to put as much thought in presenting the work as we did in creating it which might sound like a no brainer, but it is harder to hang a ton of artwork then ya think.
















Next came the shirts. Sizing them and getting them all into the boxes. It was a lot of fun to sign and customize them all the night of the show.




















We had a lot of great help all day. Big thanks to everyone that chilled out at Rarebreed with us for the 4 or 5 hours we were there setting up

What a successful night! Thanks to everyone that showed up and supported us last night. That was such a kick ass show. If you have any pictures from the show please email me and i can forward you an ftp to dump your pictures. I am trying to assemble a big photo album for the show and I will totally credit you for your picture once its all said and done if it gets used.

I'm doing a few canvases of my favorite cartoon characters, but adding some UnderWaterPirates detail to them. Adding or remixing hats to look like the beanie type hat my character wears as well ass adding some signature triangular patches to the clothes. Maybe some rips and tears too. Just sprussing em up a bit you could say.

Sneak a Peak

Working on some new stuff. Super thick lines and a, well i cant say about the other. Its a surprise for the show. I'm going for that "wow factor". Lets call it something like a Lady GaGa piece. Should turn out pretty good. I have had a few items i was working on but didn't know how to tie them all in together - until i stumbled upon the ultimate trash pile yesterday and found exactly the thing i didn't know i was looking for.
